Wow, this place sure is nice.  Peaceful, and a lot of friendly people, plus free room and board.  I can't argue with that.  And I think I'll get along with my room mate, I mean, Rukia seems like a pretty good person.

Everyone I've met so far has been really nice to me; how're you settling in, Heather?  Rollo?

Last night while Rukia was asleep I started looking at my things, through my pockets.  Nothing to identify me, but... I've got some... pins and brooches.  Maybe they're medals?    They look kind of like military marks of honor.  ... and I've got this gauntlet... and a dozen of these weird... they look like big metal capsules, but I can't open them.  It doesn't make any sense.  Weapons?  Medals?

... was I a soldier?  But... the thought of going to war ... could I really do something like that?

Um... actually? The gauntlet feels ... really natural on. I mean... I don't think it's heavy or anything, but, it probably is. But when I'm wearing it, I don't feel off balance in the slightest for only wearing one.

That sounds about right. I'd like to it would. It's weird. It has moving parts and stuff... but I really don't know why.
