*Subaru is standing on the roof, leaning against the guard rail, looking at the stars with red eyes*

*sniffle* ... Heather ... I kinda wonder what the others were like... maybe then I'd get it. Did I do something wrong? What do they have that I don't...? ... I felt so special...

I want to see Nanoha, and Ginga, and... Tia. I really wanna see Ginga and Tia right now... I want to go home.

Again, she wasn't sure why she was smiling because this girl was clearly in pain, but she remained where she was, letting the girl cry into her back for a few moments.

Obviously this girl knew her. Fate-chan hadn't mentioned anyone else. Maybe she'd forgotten. Either way, it didn't bother her. She'd find out in time.

Then she turned around and gently put her arms around the crying girl.

She lifted a hand to gently stroke the back of the girl's head. Then she pulled back so she could look down at her.

It's nice to meet you, Subaru. I wish it was under nicer circumstances.

Indigo-colored eyes focused on the girl's sad face. Her expression was sympathetic.

The name felt odd coming out of her mouth. Lips pursed as she realized to what Subaru was actually referring. Her heart hurt for this girl. She was silent for a few moments as she thought.

I'm sorry, Subaru. Really.

Her hand moved from the top of the girl's head, to her cheek. She smiled softly.

I'm sure it sounds hard to believe right now, but I think you'll be okay on the other side of this.

I think you should always try and talk to someone. I think we should always try to understand why people make the choices they do.

I think you need to decide what's best for you, Subaru. If you think talking to her will bring you closure, then talk with her. If you think it will only hurt you, then don't.

Her thumb stroked the girl's cheek for a few seconds.

You have to decide for yourself, but I'm sure your friends will support you no matter what you do.

"Hai! I met Fate-chan yesterday! I was surprised to have someone know me. She did seem really shocked at first."
